Takumi Akane
Takumi is the redhead leader and lead guitarist of the band VR (Vocaloid Revolution). He is wild and unpredictable, often forcing his friends into his epic and crazy ideas (most of which are pretty nasty).
Tsubasa Kamine
Tsubasa is the blond second guitarist of the band. Unlike Takumi he's mild-mannered and calm, and tends to be calculative before making any actions.
Miyu Tsukune
Miyu is the bassist of the gang. He has a multiple-personality issue - one moment he's nice and warm, the next cold-blooded and vicious. He is a self-proclaimed night owl - he is often tired in the day, but more energetic at night.
Shota Keion
Shota is the drummer of VR. Although he serves as a comic relief among the five, he is actually a sadistic yandere, who builds his happiness upon others' miseries and enjoys torturing people.
Rei Shizune
Rei is the albino electronic keyboard player of the band. He is a tsundere - he may be hard with his mouth and spits out unpleasant words, deep down he's a kind person. He is especially weak against crying girls.

Rin Kagamine
Rin is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Gold, and the twin sister of Len. She may have the innocent-girl appearance, but she is actually outgoing and loud, with no regards to how hurtful her words can be to other people. She has an unhealthy obsession for her brother (to the point of being a twincest), and she will go as far as getting rid of those who are too close to Len - permanently. She has an enmity with Neru.
Len Kagamine
Len is the twin brother of Rin. As he is the only son in the family, he is the heir who will succeed Mr Gold's place to rule over Yellow Planet. Unlike Rin, he's an introvert - he's quiet and prefers the company of the grandpiano and music scores to socializing with people.
Neru Akita
Neru is the rebellious older half-sister of the Kagamine twins from the mother's side. She hates her mother for marrying to money, and still retains the surname Akita from her biological father. She does not get along with Rin.

Lily is the eldest in the Gold family - she's the Kagamines' half-sibling from the father's side, but has gone missing for many years. Mr Gold believes that she is still alive, somewhere...

Kaito is the intelligent, dual-faced son of Mr Sapphire. He's currently heading the planet as Mr Sapphire isn't in good health. He has an affair with his cousin Luka from the mother's side. His only rivalry is Gakupo, his cousin from his father's side, who is eyeing for the throne and over Luka's love. Currently he is dating with Miku Hatsune of Emerald Planet, with a hidden agenda in mind...
